Wiser Eliza
Nobody was wiser than Eliza
She was cute and cuddly and nice
And gave everyone useful advice
She had 28 wisdom teeth
And lots more lurking beneath
She knew how to make the most noise
And the difference between girls and boys
She could change a baby’s diaper
And fit Daddy’s new windscreen wiper
She was brilliant at checkers and chess
And told her teddy bear how to dress
She knew how long to boil an egg
And how to fix a broken leg
She told fortunes three times a week
And karaoked in Latin and Greek
She knew how to make poodles pretty
And gave stocks and shares tips in the city
She did other kids’ homework for money
And knew exactly how bees make honey
She was the ‘go to’ sage
For kids of every age
But then to everyone’s surprise
She cried “ l’m so tired of being wise!”
I’d rather be jolly than wily
And in a flash she became Smiley Kylie
